1. Who we are

Tiny Dreamer Sounds (“the app”) is operated by Thuyen Nguyen, an individual based in Vietnam (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the limited data described here. Contact: sleep-sounds@apporig.com.

2. In short

• No accounts, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking across apps or websites, and we never sell or share personal data for advertising.
• Your child’s profile, mixes, sleep diary and voice recordings stay on your device.
• Anonymous usage statistics are sent only if you agree.

3. What stays on your device

The app stores these only on your device, and we cannot see them:

• your child’s name (optional) and date of birth or age (only the age group is ever used for statistics);
• onboarding answers, favorites, saved mixes, timer, night-mode and volume settings;
• sleep diary entries;
• your voice recordings (audio files in the app’s private storage);
• the date of the optional free-trial reminder, which is a local notification created by iOS, not a push message.

Deleting the app deletes all of this.

4. Microphone

The microphone is used for two optional features, only after you read the explanation and allow access in iOS: the cry detector (sound is analyzed in memory in short pieces and immediately discarded) and My voice (recording starts only when you press record, and the file stays on your device). Audio is never uploaded and never included in analytics. You can turn the features off, or revoke access in iOS Settings, at any time.

5. What is sent from your device

• Purchases - Apple and Adapty. Apple processes payments; we never receive your payment details. Our subscription provider Adapty (Adapty Technologies Inc.) receives your purchase and subscription status, paywall views and an anonymous Adapty profile ID, so it can unlock Premium and restore it. Like any online service it also sees technical connection data such as your IP address. Advertising identifiers (IDFA) are not collected.
• Usage statistics - Google Firebase Analytics, only with your consent. The app asks once; you can change your answer at any time in Settings → “Share anonymous usage stats”. If you agree, we receive events such as the sounds you play, timer length, session length, paywall views, purchase steps, your child’s age group (a range) and main sleep concern chosen in onboarding, together with an app instance ID, device model, OS and app version, language and approximate country. No names, no text you type, no advertising identifiers. Before you answer, nothing is sent.
• Crash reports - Google Firebase Crashlytics. If the app crashes, a report is sent automatically with the technical state of the app (stack trace), device model, OS and app version, and a random installation ID. It contains no names, recordings or other content.

We do not collect location, contacts, photos or health data, and we do not use advertising SDKs. AirPlay and casting send audio only to devices on your local network that you choose.

6. Why we process data (GDPR)

• Usage statistics - your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it in Settings at any time without affecting the app.
• Purchases and Premium access - performance of the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Crash reports - our legitimate interest in keeping the app stable (Art. 6(1)(f)).

7. How long we keep data

Firebase Analytics event data is kept for up to 2 months. Crashlytics reports are kept by Google for about 90 days. Subscription records are kept by Apple and Adapty as long as needed to provide Premium and to meet legal and tax duties.

8. Service providers and transfers

We use Apple (App Store payments), Adapty (subscriptions) and Google (Firebase) as processors. They may process data outside your country, including in the United States; where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. See their privacy policies for details.

9. Children

The app is for parents and caregivers; it is not directed to children and is not in the Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Information about your child that you enter stays on your device. Analytics receives only an age range.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA and do not discriminate for exercising your rights. Because we hold no accounts and the statistics are tied only to a random identifier, we may ask for that identifier before we can find your data; most data is on your device, where you control it. 11. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

12. Changes

If our data practices change we will update this page and its date. Earlier versions are kept at /legal/. The English version prevails if a translation differs.
